Keyes Road, Coorabell is seeing a bit of rural development. Firstly the site of Rocking Horse Music Studios has had a facelift and is getting bookings for music recording with accommodation attached. Its great the new owners decided to keep the recording facility intact. This venue gathered quite a story over the years with many premium bands coming to stay and record there.
Now down the end of Keyes Road, is a new rural subdivision called Coorabell Springs. It is five lots between one and two acres and priced between $825,000 – $875,000. The property does not have high views but good rural views into views. Listed with Greg Price at McGrath Byron Bay.
South Golden Beach
Except for the flooding, SGB is a great location. Close to the beach and other amenities with a strong friendly community. Prices are still not astronomical, yet, and I believe will have some upward growth as the suburb becomes more gentrified. Here are a few interesting listings:

4 bed, 2 bath, 2 garage. This property is across the canal but still not far from the beach or the water. Looks well priced at $899,000 – 990,000.
The Bloodwoods, Stokers Siding
As prices keep escalating closer to Byron Bay, the outlying suburbs will keep improving. Keep an eye out for Billinudgel, Crabbes Creek, Mooball. Pottsville, Cabarita, Stokers Siding, Murwillumbah.
This 17 acres of vacant land is a bit isolated for my liking, but still of interest to the right person. For $355,000 of attractive bushland with some infrastructure is OK buying. Listed with Adrianna Jenkins of First National Murwillumbah.
Northern Rivers Commercial on the rise
National valuation company Herron Todd White has a “buy” recommendation on Northern Rivers commercial property – especially Byron Bay. The article said; “The far north coast of New South Wales has seen strong demand for properties with a strong tenant profile at the mid to upper levels of the market. Non-coastal locations have had relatively stable rents over the past two years. Retail has been adversely affected in Lismore as a result of the March 2017 flood with increased vacancies. Rents have held but there is a risk of a downturn. Coastal localities have been predominantly stable with the exception of Byron Bay, with strong demand, limited supply, upward pressure on rents, and reported incidences of key money.”
