Lanes sell Copperstone
Serial luxe home builders, Tom and Emma Lane, from the Oraton fashion family, have sold their latest offering, Copperstone Estate, for approximately $30 million. This is just a smidgeon short of the existing record for a Byron property, a beachfront home at Belongil Beach, which recently sold for $33 million to Damian Gance of the Chemist Warehouse family.
The estate was built on a Coopers Shoot farm purchased in 2011 for $3 million. It features high-end amenities such as a wellness centre, a tennis court, and a 25-meter mineral pool, as well as extensive barns and facilities for horses. The Lanes began their Byron investment journey with the development of The Farm in Ewingsdale, which they have since sold. BPS discussed the property when it was listed in this post. The sale was closed by Kim Jones REA in April for $27.5 million after a six-month campaign.
