Michelle and I are really excited to be moving to this beautiful part of the world with our family. We also want to say how much we are looking forward to working with Michael and Byron Property Search. With that in mind, I would like to tell you a bit about myself.
Master Advocates came about because I wanted to practice real estate in a way that felt aligned—independent, considered, and genuinely focused on the client. Being a second-generation real estate agent, learning in the shadows following my father from early childhood working in the sector, running our family estate agency in Melbourne and after more than two decades of personal experience working across sales, auctioneering, property management and business ownership. First, with the Raine&Horne Real Estate Network across Ascot Vale and Essendon agencies in Victoria and a decade of leadership, executive committee, and board roles within our peak professional body and associations. I knew the industry well, but I also knew it could be done better. Less volume. More care. Fewer conflicts. Better outcomes.
Michelle and I founded Master Advocates in 2014 with that exact intention. Michelle is the engine room of our business and, frankly, the reason it works as well as it does. She began her real estate career in 2002 and brings deep expertise in trust account management, property management, buyers’ advocacy and business operations. Her standards around service were shaped early through work in elite hospitality at the Langham Hotel Melbourne, one of the world’s leading 5-Star hotels, and she carries that same level of discipline and professionalism into everything we do.
She also brings an extraordinary personal story. Michelle is an Australian Paralympian who represented Australia at the 2012 London Paralympic Games. The focus, resilience and determination that took her to that level are the same qualities she brings to advocating for our clients. If an agent needs chasing or a deal needs holding together under pressure, Michelle is the one you want on your side.
Together, we work with a deliberately small number of clients at any one time. That allows us to go deep—to really understand what someone is trying to achieve, whether they’re buying a home, securing an investment, or planning for the next phase of life. Because we’ve both worked across all sides of the property market, we don’t just help people buy; we help them make informed, strategic decisions that stand the test of time.
Working with Byron Property Search feels like a very natural fit for us. We share the same values: independence, transparency, calm advice and long-term thinking.
