This is a top-end property on the top of the ridge! Although not on the ocean side of Coolamon Scenic Drive, it is one to look out for, if you can afford it. Tom Misner is the vendor of this 35-hectare ridgeline property with excellent views. Tom has been a long time local but has been spending more time in Monte Carlo after becoming obscenely rich. He sold his global business, SAE (School of Audio Engineering), headquartered on Ewingsdale Road, Byron Bay for $289 mil. Good to see someone from here becoming mega-rich and then moving away, instead of people becoming rich and moving here. There is a balance there somewhere.

Not that the music producer/entrepreneur is living on the 35-hectare property. It was purchased in 2017 for $6 million as the site for his dream Saint Tropez-inspired mansion, but ultimately left to the Land and Environment Court to approve the $11 million construction project.

The views include the hinterlands, north up the coast, Byron Bay and Julian Rocks. The 88 acres include spring-fed creeks, dams, and ancient fig trees. The original farmhouse has been removed as it included asbestos. The original gatehouse has been renovated and is one dwelling in the approved rural dual occupancy. Infrastructure already installed includes underground power and electrical work, two massive, insulated sheds, and all access roads.
