Friday Hut Road, Binna Burra
Australian cricketer, Adam Zampa, has purchased a rural property in Binna Burra for $2.56 mil. The land is 24 hectares and includes a century-old Queenslander and surrounded on three sides by Byron Creek. Zampa is a star of Twenty20 cricket who escaped to Byron for the pandemic. The agent for the sale was Peter Yopp from LJ Hooker Byron Bay.
The vendor of this property also has an interesting back story. Paul Benhaim is possibly Australia’s leading authority on the cultivation and distribution of hemp and marihuana products. His USA company Elixinol just launched on the New York Stock Exchange and the local company, Nunyara Pharma, is doing its best to lobby the Australian government and regulatory authorities to change their outdated and ill-informed opinion of the dreaded weed. Paul is equally at home selling hemp seed supplements at the Mullumbimby Farmers Market as he is with mixing it up in New York boardrooms. You can visit the hemp foods showroom/HQ in the Bangalow Industrial Estate or visit the website here.
