New Byron Record

Forget the downturn and the recession, many Byron top-end property prices remain solid. The previous Byron Shire record of $22 Mil in Wategos Beach has now been slashed by a recent sale in Suffolk Park. The hinterland property on 16 Ha was sold for $26 mil to the billionaire Roche family, founders of the Nutrimetics cosmetics company. Clare Mulhams, the family’s daughter is expected to take possession of the property.

The vendors were the Gawler family who purchased the land 9 years ago for $2 mil. They have carried out extensive renovations and landscaping. The sale was completed by Christian Sergiacomi from Pacifico Properties.
