Cypress on Wilson’s at 510 Goonengerry Road, Goonengerry, is an interesting property. The 125 acres are on high land and bordered on the southern boundary by the fast-flowing Wilsons River. The housing enclave features three structures, offering a variety of options and a pool. The main house has only four approved bedrooms, and a few additional unapproved dwellings are also present.

The property has approval for 13 community title lots. The previous owners, whom I knew to be a capable and coherent cohort of friends, obviously found the process, expense and amount of time too complicated and onerous. It is not easy to complete these projects, but they should be made easier! The CT legislation aims to offer a more affordable option for young families to reside in the hinterland.
