Warehouse for $13m Plus
A large warehouse space at 11 Centennial Circuit is now on the market. The 2820 M2 of open space sits on 3862 M2 of land. Karin Heller from Smile Elite has it listed with price expectations of $13 million to $14 million. She says that the tightly held Byron Arts and Industry Estate is still an area remaining buoyant in the present market.
Last year, a vacant 4800-square-metre block of land in Banksia Drive fetched $9.6 million. Also of note was the sale of the garden centre on 4000 square metres at 2 Grevillea Street sold for $11.5 million.
The sellers are long-term locals Rick and Gayle Hultgren who built it in 2000. It housed wholesale diving materials business up until they sold the business in 2012. They also own next door which is leased to their daughter who runs Circus Arts. Their son, Chayne Hultgren, is better known as The Space Cowboy – an internationally renowned circus act, cabaret performer and sword swallower. He also had holdings in the industrial estate but recently sold up and moved to acreage in the hinterland with his family.
